Present Ideas for a Boys 10th Birthday!

Let’s see, present ideas for a 10 year old boy? Boys at that age are into nature, animals and outdoors.  The birthday boy might be a fan of horses and cowboys or love all things about wolves. Then there are the more exotic animals, lions and tigers.  One of my favorite sites for boy’s presents is Whale’s Friends.  This site offers tons of gifts categorized by specific animal and again by type of gift.

If you are looking for a present for a boy who loves whales, seals or parrots, you will find it at this site.  Just a few of the items that can be found are calendars, clothing, games and personalized items. They have a great selection of t-shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies which are always popular with boys this age.

A 10 year old boy might be getting a little old for stickers and stamps, but what kid wouldn’t enjoy a “Property Of” stamp?  A “Property Of” stamp is one of my favorite present ideas for a 10 year old boy.  Boys his age want to “claim” his stuff so brothers and sisters don’t use his stuff. In addition to a “Property Of” stamp, you can get personalized stamps with name only, “this book belongs to”, “created by” or even a photo stamp.

The stamp is something that a maturing boy can use to mark toys, backpacks and books to proclaim his ownership. This is an opportunity to teach a lesson that with ownership comes responsibility. Since he claims it as his then he’s responsible for its being put away or taken care of his stuff. I know you’re thinking that he’ll be stamping everything. He might, but he’ll be admitting to it because his name will be the evidence!

The Discovery Channel Store offers present ideas categorized by age. I particularly like the Brain Game electronic hand-held game device. This is a neat game that can be played while riding in the car or hanging out around the house. It has five different games designed to exercise the brain. This game will strengthen his brain and double as a teaching device while he simply thinks he is playing. Perfect!

Also at the Discovery Channel Store, you will find cool nature gifts including a Frog Pond Habitat that allows you to watch a tadpole grow into a frog. They also have an Illuminated Ant Gel Habitat that allows you to watch ants live, work and tunnel. Tadpoles and ants included as appropriate!
